WHO ARE WE?

Terra Luna is a multi-activities lodge located on the shores of General Carrera Lake in the middle of the imposing beauty of the Chilean Patagonia. Dedicated for more than 8 years to coordinate mountain excursions, trekking and overland by the Austral Road. Our goal is to help out tourist enjoy the beauties of the zone, respecting towards local communities & nature. Our bilingual guide’s customized attention will make your stay in Terra Luna Lodge a unique experience.

WHERE ARE WE?

Located 290 Km, South of Coyhaique; in Puerto Guadal a bay renowned for its exceptional micro-climate which allows to visit the area ALL YEAR ROUND. Nearby the lake lies two extraordinary sites: West is the famous “Campo de Hielo Norte”, the world’s closest ice field to the Equator, on which rises Mount Saint Valentín (4,058m), only a few kilometers from San Rafael Lagoon. South we find Baker River, a fishermen‘s paradise, and Lake Cochrane where Mount San Lorenzo rises to 3700 m. Discover a land of pioneers, with our “all inclusive” programs and our complete variety of activities. WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Terra Luna offers several “All inclusive” conventional or adventure programs. To all those “Walk In” clients, we also offer lodging service with optional excursions.

We do numerous activities from water sports (kayak, fly fishing, Jet Boat, etc...) to winter sports (cross country skiing, snow shoes, etc...) according to the period of the year you visit us. The lodge, located in a 6ha private land with more than 400m of “beach”, and an extraordinary view of the nearby snowed peaks over the turquoise General Carrera Lake.

Terra Luna has a maximum capacity for 50 people. We Offer the following services for all our guests: bar, restaurant, private discotheque, conference room, Cinema, Jacuzzi, Hot Tub, sauna, laundry, children playground area, telephones in every room (DDN-DDI), ozone water purifier devices, private transfers, MTB, horses and zodiac Rentals, souvenirs store, and parking place, We give you the possibility to relax ALL YEAR ROUND enjoying the beauty of Chilean Patagonia.

During low season (from April to September) we offer promotional rates and alternative very interesting activities such us rural tourism, snow rackets, trekking and boating excursions. Charms of Patagonia in autumn and winter are yet to be discovered, and in several cases they can even be superior than high season landscapes. Some of the most important advantages that low season offers: amazing colors, no insects, nor wind, almost no tourists around, no dust on the roads and finally considerably lower rates. It’s also the best time for photography (luminocity & colors), Navigation is also better no winds means no waves on the lakes and overflights have much less turbulence as well.
